What you can expect from Kingsland Floors
Please read the following terms & conditions carefully. We would recommend that you print off and keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
Kingsland Floors - Terms and Conditions
Thank you for considering Kingsland Floors. We want you to be happy with your new floor and to help your purchase go as smoothly as possible we have produced the following guide so you will know exactly what to expect from us.
Pricing and Promotions
Although Kingsland Floors always try to ensure that pricing information on the website is correct, on extremely rare occasions an error may occur and the items may be mispriced. If we do discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact the customer and ask whether they wish to cancel or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled the order. KingslandFloors.co.uk will not be obliged to supply any goods at the incorrect price.
Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.
Payment by credit or debit card
Payment using a debit card or credit card is required at the time of order. Payment is made via secure Nochex, one of the most secure payment methods on the Internet today. kingslandfloors.co.uk will automatically acknowledge your order via e-mail
Paying by cheque
You can also pay by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Kingsland Floors and send them to Kingsland Floors, 4 milbourne crescent, Parkstone, Poole, BH12 4ES.
Allow 7 days for your cheque to clear before your carpets will be dispatched.
Delivery
All Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith,
a delivery is to the address only and not to a specific room.
A delivery date will be given, please insure you are available to receive the order as extra charges will be incurred if delivery is not accepted, have your phone available at hand to prevent delay.
Cancellations and returns policy
If for some reason you need to cancel your order before delivery please let us know as soon as possible. If the items have not been dispatched we will cancel your order and refund payment to your credit card or via cheque depending on your payment method.
If the goods have already been dispatched we may be able to cancel the delivery, however, you will still have incurred the delivery charge (promotional deals - for free delivery will incur a charge of £60). The balance of the account minus the delivery charge will be refunded.
If you have received the items and wish to return them then this can be arranged provided that the items have not been tampered with in any way and that you pay the return shipping costs.(promotional deals - for free delivery will incur a charge of £60) The balance of your account minus the shipping costs will be refunded once we have received the items back in good condition. (The return shipping costs will be the same as your original delivery charge.)
If you have purchased using credit the delivery / shipping charges will need to be paid separately if your agreement is to be cancelled.
The goods must not have been cut into and must still be wrapped. If you wish to return a product, please inform us by e-mail or call on 02380 388 665 within 12 days of delivery.
We regret that we cannot accept returns once the carpet has been cut into or opened in any other way.
Substitute Goods
If the product you order becomes unavailable we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to arrange a full refund or allow you to select a similar product with any difference in price being collected or refunded. We do not supply substitute products without your approval
Please inspect your carpet upon arrival .
Please ensure the items being delivered are the same items ordered, and that the products are inspected before fitting commences, if on inspection you have any doubts please contact us immediately,
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulted on arrival please let us know within 12 days of delivery. Your carpet can then be returned for either a full refund or replacement.
For your concerns to be resolved we sometimes require the benefit of an inspection. We therefore reserve the right to have the carpet inspected by a manufacturer's representative before work can be carried out.
Shading and The Effects of Normal Use
In common with all pile fabrics, carpets may shade. This occurs when the pile is brushed or lies in different directions and therefore reflects light differently. The extent to which your carpet will show the effects of shading depends upon its construction, design and use. Deep pile carpets will probably show your footprints and this is a shading effect. This is not a manufacturing defect and will not affect the wear life of your carpet.
Fading
All carpets will fade over time. You can dramatically reduce fading by keeping the carpet out of direct sunlight as much as possible. Fading is not a product fault. You can also reduce fading by having your carpet treated.
Colour
A great deal of effort has been made to ensure the colours of carpets shown in photography on this site are as accurate as possible. Each colour has been carefully matched to its appearance in natural daylight. However, colours may well appear slightly different on your monitor and different again under the lighting conditions in your home. We therefore recommend that you take advantage of our free sample service to give you an accurate representation of the actual colour (this is also very useful when choosing other things to match!).
It may be possible that your carpet does vary very slightly from the sample. It is however very rare that this difference is significant enough to cause a problem.
Size Tolerance
All sizes quoted are approximate. Very slight variations are unavoidable and a tolerance of plus or minus ½" (1.25cm) is allowable in accordance with clause 3 of British Standard 3655 of 1981.
Additional costs
The buyer agrees to pay for any loss or extra cost incurred by Kingsland Floors through the buyers instructions or lack of instructions or through failure or delay in taking delivery through any act of default on the part of the buyer, its servants, agents or employees.
Fitting costs
If the buyer has ordered the wrong sized carpet under the promotional free delivery deals, the fitting charge will apply as normal and no discount will be offered
Representations
No statement description information warranty condition or reccomendation contained in any catalogue advertisement or communication or made verbaly by any of the agents or employee of Kingsland Floors shall be construed to or enlarge vary or override in any way any of these conditions

Kingsland Floors and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website.
The use, download, copying, publishing, transmitting, reproduction or otherwise making available any of the material or content contained on this site for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
